Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the RideCarpathia website or booking any of our services. By accessing our website or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Our Services

RideCarpathia provides motorcycle, ATV, and UTV rental services, as well as guided off-road tours in the Carpathian Mountains, Gorj County, Romania. All services are subject to availability and weather conditions.

Bookings & Payments

Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit as specified during the booking process. Full payment is required before the start of the rental or tour. We accept payments in EUR and RON via bank transfer, credit card, or cash. Prices are subject to change without notice for future bookings.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled date receive a full refund minus a 10% administration fee. Cancellations made 7-14 days before receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before are non-refundable. No-shows are non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel tours due to extreme weather or safety concerns, in which case a full refund or rescheduling will be offered.

Rider Requirements

All riders must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid motorcycle license (category A or equivalent) for motorcycle rentals. ATV and UTV rentals require a valid driver's license (category B). Riders must sign a liability waiver before participating. Prior off-road experience is strongly recommended for hard enduro rentals and tours.

Liability & Insurance

All vehicles are covered by basic third-party insurance. Renters are responsible for damage to the rented vehicle beyond normal wear and tear, up to the excess amount specified in the rental agreement. We strongly recommend purchasing additional insurance coverage. RideCarpathia is not liable for personal injuries sustained during rides, except where caused by our negligence.

Equipment & Vehicles

Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as received, accounting for normal trail use. Protective equipment provided must be used at all times during rides. Damage or loss of equipment will be charged to the renter at replacement cost. Vehicles may not be taken outside the designated riding areas without prior written consent.

Code of Conduct

Riders must follow all instructions given by guides during tours. Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of the rental or tour without refund. Riders must respect nature, local communities, and other trail users. Reckless or dangerous riding will not be tolerated.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gorj County, Romania.
